What is Seedance?
Seedance is the video-generation family from ByteDance, the AI lab behind TikTok’s recommendation graph and Douyin’s creator tooling. Two versions run on ZNIX today: Seedance 2.5, the higher-resolution flagship, and Seedance 2.0, the volume workhorse with three selectable quality tiers.
Seedance 2.5 renders a single take of up to 15 seconds at 480p, 720p or 1080p, in six aspect ratios spanning 21:9 cinema to 9:16 vertical. All three input modes are wired up: write a prompt (text-to-video), pin a product photo or face (image-to-video), or hand it a first and last keyframe and let it interpolate the camera move between them.
Seedance 2.0 trades the 1080p ceiling for cost control. Its default High Quality tier matches 2.5’s 15-second ceiling at 480p/720p and keeps every input mode; the cheaper Fast and Economy tiers are text-to-video only. Seedance 1.5 is not currently offered on ZNIX — the availability panel further down this page is generated from the live model registry, so it always reflects what the composer can actually queue.

What’s the difference between Seedance 2.5 and 2.0?+
Resolution and tiers. 2.5 renders up to 15 seconds at 480p, 720p or 1080p and covers all three input modes. 2.0 caps at 720p but offers three quality tiers — High Quality (default, all input modes) plus cheaper Fast and Economy tiers that are text-to-video only. Is Seedance 2.5 available on ZNIX?+
Yes — 2.5 is live on ZNIX today, alongside Seedance 2.0. You can queue a render on either version straight from the composer; the availability panel above lists both with their current resolutions and starting cost. Seedance 1.5 is not currently offered.
Is Seedance better than Sora?+
Sora is not offered on ZNIX, so it is not a like-for-like comparison here. Among the models ZNIX does run, Seedance is the strongest option for product and human-subject footage where the subject has to stay on-model for the whole clip.
Can I use Seedance output commercially?+
Yes. Every render on ZNIX ships with a full commercial license including paid ads, e-commerce listings and client work. No watermark, no attribution required.
How long does one render take?+
It scales with duration and resolution: a 5-second 480p draft returns fastest, while a 15-second 1080p take takes longer and is queue-dependent. Renders run in the background — you can close the page and download the result from your dashboard when it is ready.
Does Seedance support 4K?+
Native output tops out at 1080p on Seedance 2.5 (720p on 2.0). For 4K finishing, pipe the result through ZNIX’s AI Image Upscaler or use Wan 2.6, which upscales cleaner thanks to lower temporal noise.
Which Seedance 2.0 quality tier should I use?+
High Quality is the default and the only tier that supports image-to-video and keyframe input, so use it whenever a reference has to stay on-model. Reserve Fast and Economy for text-prompt batch runs where you are scanning for a hook and cost per second matters more than polish.
Why does my output sometimes drift in the last two seconds?+
Diffusion video models lose temporal anchor the longer a clip runs. Shorten the take to 8–10 seconds, use image-to-video to lock the opening frame, or re-render at a higher quality tier — all three reduce drift without changing the prompt.
